Hosted by the <a href=\"https:\/\/foodbiotech.au.edu\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Theophane Venard School of Food Biotechnology and Innovation<\/a> (FBI), the talk gave students a timely look at how food science is being reimagined through new production methods that aim to reduce reliance on conventional dairy systems.<\/p>\n<p>MUU, an agrifood startup based in Bangkok, has been developing animal-free dairy proteins using precision fermentation, a process that uses microbes and controlled fermentation to produce proteins such as casein and whey.
