The event was part of the wider \u201c<strong>Be a Rainbow to Someone\u2019s Clouds<\/strong>\u201d suicide prevention campaign.<\/p>\n<p>The workshop featured a series of expert-led sessions, beginning with Dr. Parvathy Varma&#8217;s enlightening talk on &#8220;<strong>Navigating the Shadows: Recognizing Warning Signs, Preventing Suicide, and Building Holistic Resilience.<\/strong>&#8221; Dr. Santhosh Mohanan addressed the crucial topic of stigma and help-seeking in mental health, leading into the lunch break.<\/p>\n<p>Post-lunch, the attendees benefited from Dr. Donald&#8217;s insights, followed by Dr. Rajitha&#8217;s session on &#8220;<strong>Suicide Prevention and Strength Assessment.<\/strong>&#8221; Dr. Dave concluded the speaker sessions with an impactful discussion on &#8220;<strong>Understanding Cyberbullying: Guidelines for the Digital Age.<\/strong>&#8220;<\/p>\n<h2>Key highlights of the workshop included:<\/h2>\n<p><strong>Recognizing Warning Signs<\/strong>: Participants learned to identify subtle cues indicating distress, emphasizing awareness among educators and family members.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Preventing Suicide<\/strong>: The workshop explored proactive strategies for intervention, highlighting the importance of communication in de-stigmatizing mental health issues.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Building Holistic Resilience<\/strong>: Speakers underscored a comprehensive approach to resilience, integrating principles of positive psychology.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Interactive Strategies<\/strong>: Engaging role-playing scenarios and group discussions provided hands-on experience, equipping attendees with practical skills and resources for continued support.<\/p>\n<p>The event not only equipped participants with essential knowledge and skills but also fostered a community dedicated to supporting mental wellness.
