The grand celebration took place at The Chapel St. Louis Marie de Montfort on the Suvarnabhumi Campus, marked by a holy mass led by\u00a0<strong>His Eminence Cardinal Michael Michai Kitbunchu, Archbishop Emeritus of Bangkok Archdiocese<\/strong>\u00a0and attended by bishops from around the globe.<\/p>\n<p>The event showcased Assumption University&#8217;s rich legacy and far-reaching influence, with diplomats, business leaders, clergy, students, alumni, faculty, and staff from various eras coming together to honor Brother Martin. His visionary leadership, combined with meticulous planning and a deep commitment to education, propelled the university to its current stature.<\/p>\n<p>Current President \u2013 Rector Magnificus, Brother Bancha, expressed profound respect and admiration for Brother Martin, describing him as a mentor and guiding light.\u00a0<em><strong>&#8220;His ability to connect with diverse individuals is exceptional, and his foresight has profoundly shaped our institution,&#8221;<\/strong><\/em>\u00a0said Brother Bancha.<\/p>\n<p>In the final moments of the Holy Mass, Rev. Bro. Dr. Dechachai Sripichan, the Provincial Superior of the Montfort Brothers of St. Gabriel, Province of Thailand, graciously delivered a message of appreciation and congratulations. He extended a heartfelt thank you to His Eminence Cardinal Michael Michai Kitbunchu, Archbishop Emeritus of Bangkok Archdiocese for the honor of presiding over the ceremony, and expressed gratitude to His Eminence Cardinal Francis Xavier Kriengsak Kovitvanit, Archbishop of Bangkok Archdiocese, as well as to all the bishops and priests who contributed to the significance of the Mass.<\/p>\n<p>The 90<sup>th<\/sup>\u00a0birthday celebration not only commemorated Brother Martin&#8217;s personal milestone but also highlighted the university&#8217;s journey under his stewardship.
