preservation and economic opportunity can indeed be woven together.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>He highlighted the transformative potential of rural tourism, noting that, \u201cSustainable rural tourism honors the land, enriches the people, and invites travelers to not only see but to feel the heartbeat of a destination, providing opportunities for youth to leave the field without leaving the village.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>He applauded China\u2019s efforts in rural revitalization, noting, \u201cChina\u2019s recognition by the UNWTO for its \u2018Best Tourism Villages\u2019 shows how heritage This is the legacy we can build\u2014a legacy of hope, growth, and unity to inspire generations to come.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><strong>A Visit to Zhili: A Cultural Tourism Hub<\/strong><br \/>Following the forum, delegates visited Zhili for the founding conference of the\u00a0<strong>World Kids Wear Alliance<\/strong>\u00a0and the grand opening of the\u00a0<strong>China Children\u2019s Clothing Art Center<\/strong>. The center showcases interactive exhibits on clothing manufacturing and the region\u2019s rich history in children\u2019s wear, blending fashion, culture, and tourism into a must-see destination for visitors.<\/p>\n<p><strong>A Personal Highlight: A Surprise Reunion<\/strong><br \/>One of the unexpected highlights of Dr. Scott\u2019s trip was a surprise visit from Miss Wu Jiajing, an alumna of Assumption University of Thailand. Miss Wu, who earned her Bachelor\u2019s degree in Hospitality and Tourism Management, noticed Dr. Scott\u2019s social media post about his visit to Huzhou.
