They joined lectures on Thai culture, learned traditional dance, and even cooked Thai dishes together. Each activity was hands-on and fun, creating natural opportunities to connect and build friendships.<\/p>\n<h3>Learning by Giving<\/h3>\n<p>The program was also about giving back. At Bankao School and Bangbowitthayakhom School, Fukui students taught Japanese to local students, sharing not only their language but also their culture. It became a meaningful exchange, where both sides learned and grew together.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Exploring Thailand<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Beyond the classroom, the group discovered Thailand\u2019s rich history and landscapes. Field trips to Bangkok, Kanchanaburi, and Ayutthaya offered chances to explore temples, historical sites, and local communities, deepening their understanding of Thai life while strengthening bonds with AU students.<\/p>\n<h3>Living with AU Families<\/h3>\n<p>One of the most memorable experiences was the homestay program. AU families opened their homes to Fukui students, offering hospitality and everyday experiences that made them feel at home. This warm welcome created close connections and friendships that will last far beyond the program.<\/p>\n<h3>Cherished Memories<\/h3>\n<p>AU extends heartfelt thanks to the University of Fukui for joining this exchange.
