Now in its 18th year, the program was originally designed to provide students with opportunities to apply classroom knowledge in real-world contexts, under the guidance of senior student mentors and faculty members. These peer mentors provide support in academic adjustment, study techniques, and personal guidance, helping new students feel less isolated and more empowered in their transition to university life.<\/p>\n<p>Notably, the program is offered free of charge, with generous support from the Office of Student Affairs at AU.
