Prof. Dr. Patchanee Yasurin, Asst. Prof. Dr. Suvaluk Asavasanti and Dr. Roungdao Klinjapo<\/strong>\u2014the study explores the classification, antioxidant, and antibacterial mechanisms of NPCs, while identifying cutting-edge applications that enhance meat preservation, food safety, and sustainability.<\/p>\n<p>Their latest study, \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/www.mdpi.com\/2076-3921\/14\/2\/138\">Recent Advances, Challenges, and Functional Applications of Natural Phenolic Compounds in the Meat Products Industry<\/a>\u201d showcases the transformative potential of natural phenolic compounds (NPCs)\u2014plant-derived antioxidants that serve as a sustainable, natural alternative to synthetic preservatives in the meat industry.<\/p>\n<p>This article belongs to the Special Issue <a href=\"https:\/\/www.mdpi.com\/journal\/antioxidants\/special_issues\/Technologies_Detecting_Antioxidant_Oxidative_Stabilization\">Innovative Technologies for Detecting Antioxidant Properties and Oxidative Stabilization of Agri-Food Products and Plant Extracts<\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>Natural Phenolic Compounds: The Future of Meat Preservation<\/strong><br \/>NPCs have been scientifically proven to extend the shelf life of meat products by reducing oxidation and microbial growth. Found in both edible and inedible parts of plants\u2014including fruits, vegetables, herbs, and trees\u2014these compounds are revolutionizing food preservation while aligning with sustainable agriculture. By utilizing agricultural by-products, researchers are creating eco-friendly solutions that minimize waste while enhancing food safety.<\/p>\n<p><em><strong>\u201cThis research is a milestone in sustainable food innovation,\u201d<\/strong> <\/em>said <strong>Asst.
